I graduated from Davis County High School in 2010 and completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Iowa State University in 2014, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Following graduation at ISU, I married my high school sweetheart, Mylo Wells and started the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Iowa Department of Physical Therapy in the Carver College of Medicine.
While in PT school, I received the Outstanding Anatomy Award and Judy Biderman Professionalism Award. My clinical experience in home health, acute care including orthopedic, cardio-pulmonary, and neuromuscular physical therapy, outpatient neuromuscular physical therapy including management of patients with progressive neurologic diseases such as Parkinson’s, ALS, MS, and outpatient orthopedic physical therapy with a heavy emphasis on manual therapy.
When I'm not at work, you may see me jogging outside, baking, fishing and spending time with family. My husband also works in healthcare, as a pharmacist. Growing up we both saw a huge need in providing high quality healthcare in rural Iowa, so what better way to do that, than in your home town!
