I graduated Centerville, High School in 2012. My Bachelor’s Degree was in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa in 2016. Soon after, I began the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Iowa Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science.
During PT school, I received the Tracy Dahl Family Scholarship for dedication to physical therapy and a desire to provide the highest level of care. My clinical experience includes: acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedics with a heavy emphasis on manual therapy, and neuromuscular physical therapy. I also have experience in traumatic brain injuries and cardiopulmonary conditions including congestive heart failure, post-cardiac events, and cystic fibrosis.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking my dog on walks, going to the lake, baking, and eating ice cream. My husband and I live close to my family and my in laws and enjoy hanging out with them. A fun fact about me is that I volleyball in high school and college, which I enjoy to this day!
