I graduated from Cardinal High School in 2001, attended Indians Hills for two years, and ultimately graduated from St Ambrose University with a bachelors of Psychology and Masters of Occupational Therapy.
While attending college, I served on the curriculum committee and as President of the Student OT Association while graduating with honors.
I began my career in a long term rehab center designed for clients with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries before returning home to start my family where I have worked in an acute rehab unit, acute care, out patient, and skilled care settings and am especially passionate about stroke rehab, dementia, & helping all clients maintain independence and quality of life.
In 2015, I began my own business primarily in the homecare setting to further allow me to assist clients to rehab and safely age in their own homes! I have experience with 0-106 year olds which is another part I love about my job!
Outside of work my world revolves around my children including supporting them in softball, baseball, and gymnastics almost year round! During free time we enjoy hunting, sitting by the fire, or cheering on the Cubs & Hawkeyes!
